Section One:
Pre-Law is
your first step to uncovering the truth about all of the
myths that most prospective law students believe prior
to applying. Once you grasp how demanding the law school
experience is, you are encouraged to take a serious
inventory of your strengths and weaknesses to enable you
to decide prior to entrance whether your
expectations about meeting the challenges are
realistic. You are then given all of the information you
need to understand how the application process works as
well as ways to make your application package stand out
to law school acceptance committees.
Section Two:
First Year introduces
you to what you will face during your first two
semesters by taking you on a tour through the law school
indoctrination process and showing you ways to prepare
for the journey. First-year courses are described and
tips are offered for surviving the difficult adjustment
period that most law students encounter
Section Three:
Knowing the Ropes Without Hanging Yourself
highlights
study tips and exam-taking strategies to help make you a
success.
Section Four:
Second Year
outlines
the transition from first-year to upper-class law
student and identifies the choices and opportunities
that make the next two years much more exciting and
enjoyable.
Section Five:
Career Chase
explores
the ins and outs of finding the right job, from resume
and cover letter writing to successful interviewing.
You are also introduced to the many facets of legal
employment.
Section Six:
Third Year
takes you
into the last year of law school where all thoughts turn
to the bar exam. You will learn about the different
tests you will be required to take in order to be
licensed in your jurisdiction, as well as various tips
and strategies for surviving the most stressful day(s)
of your life!
Section Seven:
After School
wraps up everything you have learned about law school
and gives you thought-provoking insight into what life
is like for many attorneys.
